Football Stadium Man Cave
This OSU fan created a shrine for the buckeyes in his rec room. He hired a mural artist to paint the Buckeye Horseshoe stadium on the wall and on the ceiling of his basement. The owner went to an OSU game and took photos of the stadium from the highest vantage point & from every angle. The artist then translated the views of the stadium to the walls of the basement. It took the artist around 4 months to complete the project. The biggest problem was trying to paint an oval stadium to a square room. Other problems included painting the windows of the press box and all of the people. The owner wanted astro turf on the floor but settled for an all weather boat deck carpet. The scoreboard ended up being the location of the 42 inch screen TV. The owner can now watch the football game in the "shoe" without leaving his home. The owner is excited to get the 2008 season started and wow his friends when they see the "stadium."
